Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: petroleum industry; natural gas industry; chemical industry; devices for production of an inert gas used at explosion-proof operations dealt with explosive gases and vapors. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of devices generating inert gases used at explosion-proof operations dealt with explosive gases and vapors and may be used in the oil, gaseous and chemical industries. The generator of a compressed inert gas contains an internal-combustion engine, an output driving shaft, the internal-combustion engine systems feeding air and fuel, the gasses exhaust system, the control system, the air engine communicating with the gasses exhaust system and driven in motion by the driving shaft, and also the separator, the catalytic converter, the gas-and-air heat exchanger with a fan drive driven from the driving shaft, the scrubber, mounted and in series communicating with each other in the trunk linking the air engine with the gasses exhaust system. At that the gasses exhaust system includes a normally shut valve of the exhaust gases discharge in the aerosphere and the air-supply system is connected by the trunk, which has a control valve, with the output header of the scrubber. The invention allows to produce a compressed inert gas with a maximum achievable power efficiency, quickly, with good power consumption and with the ensured explosive safety during operations with combustible gases and vapors. ^ EFFECT: the invention allows to produce the compressed inert gas at the maximum achievable power efficiency, quickly, with good power consumption and ensured explosive safety during operations with combustible gases and vapors. ^ 1 ex, 1 dwg |
