Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: railway transport; locomotive bodies. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bodies of locomotives with energy absorbing devices. Proposed body of railway vehicle contains skeleton consisting in front part of cross horizontal, vertical sections, additional cross horizontal and vertical rigid sections arranged after head part of skeleton, and energy absorbing devices 6 arranged between additional cross horizontal and vertical rigid sections and head part of skeleton. Each device 6 has two or several spring-friction devices installed lengthwise the body, and one wedge device consisting of wedge interacting with pistons installed in housing with resilient members. Housing is installed crosswise relative to longitudinal axis of body to change direction of impact load. ^ EFFECT: improved safety. ^ 5 dwg
