APPARATUS FOR CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURE OF FLAT NETS

FIELD: contact welding, namely equipment for continuously making flat nets, mainly wire nets. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus for making nets of wire with diameter 2 - 4 mm includes upper and lower electrode units with electrodes arranged on foundation of welding machine; mechanism for step feed of lengthwise wire; mechanism for piecewise feed of cross wire, control system. Mechanism for piecewise feeding cross wire includes units of feeder and magnetic catcher, both rigidly mounted in foundation at different sides of lower electrodes. Feeder includes hopper for cross wires; said hopper is communicated with inlet of slit-like guiding duct. Splitter of wires in the form of gate connected to pneumatic cylinder is arranged at outlet of said duct. Magnetic catcher includes magnetic blocks arranged in grooves on common bracket. Each magnetic block includes permanent magnet whose mutually opposite faces are embraced by means of magnetic circuit; poles of magnetic circuit are in the form of plates. Vertical end surfaces of said plates are placed along single row in welding line between lower electrodes. ^ EFFECT: simplified design, improved quality of flat net. ^ 2 cl, 5 dwg
