Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring life time of positrons embedded into the surface polyoxide structure formed on the surface, reference wear testing during cutting materials for optimal cutting rate, measuring variation of the value of the initial parameter as a function of the properties of the surface polyoxide structure, plotting the reference correlation dependence of the initial parameter on the wear resistance for a given cutting temperature and heating, monitoring the value of initial parameter for the current batch of cutting tools, and predicting wear resistance of the tool batch from the dependence obtained. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reduced labor consumptions. ^ 2 dwg |
