SUBMERSIBLE MULTI-STAGE CENTRIFUGAL PUMP WITH RADIAL-THRUST BEARINGS

FIELD: submersible multi-stage centrifugal pumps for recovery of oil from wells. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed pump has set of stages assembled in cylindrical housing with impellers having circular grooves and fixed guide apparatus. Guide apparatus is provided with bearing bands and bores which are used as radial supports for pump rotor. Fitted in circular grooves of impellers are bearing washers adjoining bearing bands of guide apparatus. Bearing washers and bands are spherical in shape. Provision is made for increase of service life of pump by protection of friction surface of guide apparatus hubs against wear at handling fluids containing abrasive particles. Vibration of rotor is reduced due to centering relative to guide apparatus and relief of radial supports of pump shaft irrespective of wear of friction surface of radial-thrust bearings in axial direction. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. ^ 1 dwg
