Zusammenfassung:FIELD: universal converters for automobiles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed converter is, essentially, push-pull pulse converter using high-frequency transformer with two windings on step-down end and three windings on step-up end and voltage modulator for primary windings connected in circuit with neutral brought out; it is built around two transistor switches operating in uncontrolled mode or three ones, in controlled mode of operation. For conducting maintenance and repair operations with power supply from single-phase ~220 V mains or from storage battery with parallel-connected automobile generator this converter can be changed over to dc-to-ac mode of operation (dc/ac mode) or to ac-to-dc conversion mode (ac/dc mode) by changing connection of transformer windings. Rectified voltage ripples at modulator input are proposed to be eliminated by modulation method dispensing with filter capacitors. ^ EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of converter. ^ 5 cl, 5 dwg
