FIELD: road vehicles. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for cleaning exhaust gases from harmful substances to protect environment and for damping of exhaust noises. Proposed device contains gas inlet, intermediate and outlet pipes, conversion and noise-damping systems and secondary air delivering devices. Gas intake pipe consists of corrugated section with manifold at beginning and tubular shaped and straight-line sections at end. Intermediate and outlet pipes are made of cold-and-heat resistant plastic. Conversion system is arranged in gas inlet pipe and is coated from inside with catalyst film. Noise-damping system arranged at end of intermediate and outlet pipes includes standardized coils of metal wire gauze placed with clearance on flexible axle in corrugated section of gas inlet pipe at end of intermediate and outlet pipes. Gauze is coated with catalyst film on basis of oxidation catalysts at beginning of corrugated section and at end, on basis of reduction, and in straight-line part of tubular section, on base of oxidation catalyst. Coils of gauze at ends are furnished with crosses made of plates flat along axis. Secondary air delivering devices are made in form of injection units with nozzle inserts which are installed in inlet of manifold of corrugated section and in inlet of straight-line sections of gas inlet pipe. ^ EFFECT: prevention of contamination of surrounding atmosphere and provision of noise damping. ^ 9 cl
