PNEUMATIC DRIER FOR POLYDISPERSED MATERIALS

FIELD: food, alcohol, brewery, combined fodder, chemical and other industries. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying facilities and it can be used for drying different disperse materials under pneumatic transportation conditions. In proposed pneumatic drier for polydispersed materials spiral channel of drying chamber is made with constant section over entire length of channel in form of at least several identical turns arranged one after the other and orientated vertically. Each turn of channel includes alternating straight-line and curvilinear sections. Each curvilinear section if channel connecting straight-line sections is made with constant radius, and channel formed by each turn has one common wall with following turn in direction of flow of gas suspension. Optimum ratio between height "a" and width "b" of spiral channel of drying chamber is within 0.4-0.8, and optimum ratio between length of curvilinear and straight-line sections of one turn of channel is within 1.1-1.35. ^ EFFECT: improved drying of polydispersed materials. ^ 4 cl, 2 dwg
