METHOD FOR PREPARING alpha-ECDYSONE

FIELD: organic chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for isolating biologically active substances from vegetable raw. Method for preparing alpha-ecdysone involves extraction of vegetable raw of species Serratula coronata. Juice is squeezed out from fresh leaves plant Serratula coronata gathered at budding phase and filtered off. Filtrate is concentrated and extracted with ethyl acetate, extract is evaporated, cooled and mixture of crystals of 20-hydroxyecdysone and alpha-ecdysone is filtered followed by their dissolving in acetone and addition of phosphomolybdic acid. The prepared mixture of 20-hydroxyecdysone 2,3:20,22-diacetonide and alpha-ecdysone 2,3-acetonide is separated by column chromatography method and isolated alpha-ecdysone 2,3-acetonide is hydrolyzed. The reaction mixture is extracted, extract is evaporated and crystals of alpha-ecdysone are isolated by column chromatography method. Method provides enhancing the output of process, to reduce specific consumption of organic solvents and energy and to enhance the yield of alpha-ecdysone as the end product. ^ EFFECT: improved preparing method.
