METHOD FOR ADDRESSING RECORDING OF BIT FLOW

FIELD: computer science. ^ SUBSTANCE: data are organized in form of blocks of variable size and variable duration video-objects. For providing access a display list (address table) is used, based on portions of bit flow with constant size of each portion. List additionally has base value, which is not assigned to any of said portions. For receiving value of address, necessary for receiving required address, said value and all values of duration change to closest duration change for data portion appropriate for required address, are added with increasing total. Said base time value is selected for duration change values bits correspond with its weight to respective number of bits of the eldest binary digit of time marks of application. ^ EFFECT: higher precision, higher effectiveness. ^ 6 cl, 11 dwg
