METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PARAMETERS OF INSERTS OF BEARING ASSEMBLIES

FIELD: control of parameters of inserts of bearing assemblies directly during manufacturing process. ^ SUBSTANCE: method is realized in vertical broaching machine tool at process of drawing parting planes of insert. Method comprises steps of controlling necessary parameters in seat with diameter of mounting surface equal to nominal diameter of opening for insert; at measuring insert height, applying control load to parting surface of insert; measuring out-of-parallelism of parting surfaces of insert relative to generatrix of outer cylindrical surface by means of two measuring instruments in mean portion along thickness of insert on parting surface in zone spaced by distance 2.5 mm from end and tongue of insert; evaluating out-of parallelism according to difference of readings of measuring instruments; controlling adjoining of generatrix of insert surface to working surface of seat by means of two induction type displacement transducers placed in seat; at controlling height and out-of-parallelism degree, placing measuring instruments on working slides of vertical broaching machine tool. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of measuring process. ^ 3 dwg
