Zusammenfassung:FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves applying surgical intervention and postoperative chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Mediastinal pleura is retained, thoracic wall is pierced in the second intercostals space on parasternal line and thin perforated polyvinylchloride rod, set in mediastinum via cut in the mediastinal pleura, is introduced into the pleural cavity in carrying out surgical intervention. The pleura is sutured with catheter fixed therein and external catheter end is fastened with ligature to anterior chest wall skin. Antitumor radiosensibilizer chemopreparations are introduced via the catheter daily beginning from the seventh-eighths day of postoperative period during three days. Distant gamma-therapy is concurrently administered in mobile mode at a dose of 2 Gr twice a day with 4-5 h long pauses during 7 days. The treatment is continued after 2-weeks long pause at a dose of 4 Gr three times a week, with total number of 6 fractions and with antitumor preparations introduced via catheter into the mediastinum or without it depending on treatment results. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in delivering radiosensibilizer preparations to an area under radiation treatment; reduced radiation load; reduced risk of complications.
