MODULAR TOOL FITTING

FIELD: machine tool manufacture, machine tools with automatic change of tools and with number program control. ^ SUBSTANCE: fitting includes mounting unit with inner cone and end basic surfaces; changeable tool module with reciprocal basic surfaces and with cutting member; orienting unit designed for angular positioning of tool module relative to mounting unit; clamping member engaging with tool module, placed in axial opening of mounting unit and coupled with power member. In order to enhance technological effectiveness and to enlarge using range, fitting is provided with movable sleeve having inner cone and outer cylindrical basic surfaces. The last one is designed for mounting in inner cylindrical basic surface of mounting unit. Fitting also includes elastically deformed ring designed for forcing movable sleeve. Orienting unit is in the form of radially arranged cylindrical stem. Tool module has stepped slit engaged with stem at minimum gap and grooves engaged with clamping member. The last may be in the form of T-shaped tie rod. Grooves of tool module are designed for fixing module by means of rotary tie rod. ^ EFFECT: enhanced technological effectiveness, enlarged using range of fitting. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg
