While performing microscopy of vaginal smears one should detect leukocytic reaction, availability of the layers of intermediate epithelial cells, the presence of single lactobacterial forms in case of large-bacillary coccal flora. One should perform pH-metry of vaginal secreta and aminotest. At pH value ranged 4.5-5.5 and negative aminotest it is possible to diagnose aerobic vaginitis.
