Zusammenfassung:FIELD: iron metallurgy, in particular method for preparation of batch materials for blast-furnace smelting. ^ SUBSTANCE: Briquette is produced by vibration compaction from batch, comprising carbon-containing materials, technical iron-containing materials, fluxing additives, inorganic binder and plasticizer, as well as carbon, iron oxide, manganese oxide, calcium oxide, silica, alumina, etc. Mass ratios of C:Fe, CaO:SiO2 and MgO:Al2O3 are 0.25-0.55, 0.3-1.6, 0.25-1.25, respectively. Fineness of batch components is not more than 10 mm. Briquette has ratio of maximum and minimum size at most 1.2, and mass of 1.5-8.0 kg.
