FIELD: medicine, in particular, equipment for prophylaxis and therapy of locomotor system diseases and bedsores, for passive correction of spine deformation, and for imparting corresponding position to body and limbs. ^ SUBSTANCE: orthopedic mattress is composed of sections connected with one another and packed with filler. Width of sections is less than 30 cm and length of sections is at least twice the width of sections. Sections are made of different sizes and shape of cross sections to provide for conformance and/or correction of main anatomical curves of human body surface.
