Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: transport pipeline, particularly for repairing oil and gas pipelines. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning pipeline surface in defective area; determining local curvature in circumference direction and comparing thereof with nominal curvature; placing flexible band with connector on pipeline covered with elastic padding. Connector is formed as loop gripping means with embedded member and is provided with tightening mechanism. Loop gripping means are formed on both connector ends pulled together by screw connecting means of "nut-pin-nut" type. Nuts are arranged in depressions formed in embedded members and are restricted against rotation around their axes. Nuts cooperate with pins along right and left threads of each screw connection. Flexible band is made of oriented fiberglass plastic with cavities formed in loop gripping means areas and filled with foamed material. Tightening force of flexible band is selected on a base of a given mathematical dependence. ^ EFFECT: extended technical capabilities. ^ 8 cl, 6 dwg
