METHOD FOR RESTORING LATERAL GROUP OF TEETH

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves repairing crown portion of lateral group teeth by means of self-hardening composite materials and reinforcing net-like member. Groove is centrally built on the dental cavity bottom 1-2 mm far from lateral and medial walls of the tooth root. Its width and depth is equal to 1-2 mm. Rectangular piece is cut out from the metal net for producing reinforcing member fitting the failing crown tooth part in width and depth and repeating outlines of the area under repair. The reinforcing member is fitted into the groove, taken out, washed with water jet and dried. Adhesive agent is introduced into the formed tooth cavity and the net is set into the groove in perpendicular to the bottom. The net is also treated with adhesive agent. The adhesive agent is polymerized. The groove is filled with fluid-flow composite; and next to it, the formed tooth cavity is layer-by-layer filled with composite material until the anatomical shape is fully restored. ^ EFFECT: prolonged service life; smoothened tooth stress-strain state; prevented splitting and forging of the repaired tooth. ^ 3 cl
