Zusammenfassung:FIELD: mechanical engineering; differential gears of transport facility rear axles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed differential gear includes body, cover, cross-piece, satellites, half-axle and driven gears, washers and needle rollers made from steel at reduced hardenability and content of carbon from 0.4 to 0.85 mass-% at ideal critical diameter equal to 0.8-3.3 of gear modulus. Body, cover, cross-piece, satellites and gears are provided with surface hardened layer over entire contour of each part. Microstructure of surface layer is tempered martensite at hardness more than 56 HRCe and depth equal to 0.12-0.4 of ideal critical diameter of steel ; it is provided with hardened core. Microstructure of core is just troostite, troosto-sorbite or sorbite at hardness of 30 to 47 HRCe. Tempered martensite, troostite, troosto-sorbite and sorbite of each part are organized from initial austenite of steel at average diameter of actual grain equal to 0.008-0.003 mm which corresponds to grain number 11-14. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability and durability of parts at retained overall dimensions and mass. ^ 6 cl, 3 dwg, 5 tbl
