Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: mechanical engineering; automobile industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed brake includes two-stage drum, brake shoes, brake shoes made from rubber and reinforced over perimeter by steel framework, brake chambers secured to brake shield and pneumatic drive. Molded on both sides of brake chamber mounted in circular clearance between rims of brake drum are U-shaped shelves with branches to which friction linings are secured; lugs secured to brake shield on side of free edge of drum rim are extensions of branches. Ratio of coefficient of probable overlapping of upper friction pairs of friction unit to lower friction pairs is equal to ratio of radii over which they are engageable. ^ EFFECT: smooth distribution of specific loads on friction units. ^ 2 dwg
