Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: organic chemistry, molecular biology, virology, medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the compound 2-aroyl-3-methyl-6,7-difluorobenz[4,5]-imidazo[2,1-b][1,3]-thiazoles of the general formula (1a-o): ^ wherein R means hydrogen, bromine, chlorine atom, hydroxy-group, group -NHCOCH3, group -OCOCH3, nitro-group, methyl, methoxy-group or phenyl that effective inhibitors of measles virus. Compounds of formulas (1a) and (1b) given in the description elicit ability to inhibit reproduction of measles virus in transplantable cultured cells Vero of green monkey kidney.
