Additionally, in the period of no attacks one should carry out psychological testing in patients including the study of peculiarities of cognitive functions, self concept, emotional reaction and system of relations. One should determine the content of endogenic kinurenin in blood plasma. In case of decreased index of paroxysmal activity practically up to zero values, positive dynamics and stability of psychological manifestations, decreased values of kinurenin concentration up to 87.6 5.7 mcg% it is possible to diagnose stable remission of epilepsy. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability of diagnostics. ^ 1 ex, 5 tbl
