Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: polymers, building materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing heavy petroleum residues, namely, to preparing bitumen-base improved materials and can be used in manufacturing road, roofing and waterproofing covers. The composite of polymer-bitumen composition (PBC) involves bitumen with softening point 40-55oC; as polymer-modifying agent method involves using block-copolymer of butadiene and styrene; as a plasticizing agent method involves using extract after selective treatment of residual oily fractions or extract after selective treatment of distillate oily fractions that have kinematic viscosity value 12.7-24.3 mm2/s at 100oC, solidifying point is (+22)-(+45)oC in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: block-copolymer of butadiene and styrene, 1-5; above indicated plasticizing agent, 5-18; above indicated bitumen, the balance. Method is carried out by the following procedure: polymer-modifying agent is dissolved in plasticizing agent at temperature 140-180oC for 30-120 min and prepared solution is mixed with bitumen at temperature 150-190oC for 30-120 min, either bitumen is mixed with plasticizing agent at temperature 140-180oC for 30-90 min and polymer-modifying agent is added to prepared mixture and stirred at temperature 150-200oC for 60-180 min.
