ROTARY SWITCH

FIELD: switching devices with manual control, applicable for switching of electric circuits in instruments and automatic control devices, teleautomatics, signaling devices, monitoring and protection of power distribution in communication and information transmission systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: the rotary switch has a set of plates (wafers) with fixed contacts which form the body, movable contacts fitted on an axle with a flat that engageable with the handle, and fasteners. The axle of the movable contacts has an extension piece (dog) with an undercutting and a slit clip on its one end. The extension piece is positioned in a sealed casing, which is made in the form of a sleeve with an outer flange with a seal for fastening in the instrument, and a seal engageable with the axle of the extension piece. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the instrument automatic equipment by provision of its sealing and water resistance. ^ 4 dwg
