SYSTEM INCORPORATING WARNING DEVICE AND WIRE AS WELL AS METHOD FOR DETECTING MANUALLY INSTALLED TEMPORARY GROUND CONNECTORS ON HIGH-VOLTAGE CONDUCTORS

FIELD: high-voltage power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: system designed for warning about ground contracts manually attached to high-voltage conductors has additional naked wire disposed close to high-voltage conductor which is spaced apart from the latter and can elastically come in contact with high-voltage conductor when ground contact is attached thereto; and also warning device incorporating means for attaching to high-voltage conductor and to additional wire. Warning device has identifying equipment in its section disposed near high-voltage conductor that functions to find out if additional wire is brought in contact with high-voltage conductor and to transmit signal indicating this condition to other section of warning device which is spaced at certain distance from high-voltage conductor, better placed at ground potential.
