By carrying out genetic-engineering procedures the yeast strain Hansenula polymorpha VKPM Y-2412 is prepared that is transformed with DNA sequence encoding HBsAg/adw fused with gene MOX promoter and with gene TRP3 and representing the producer of recombinant surface antigen of hepatitis B virus.
