SELF-PROPELLED APPARATUS FOR DISPLACEMENT INSIDE PIPELINE

FIELD: equipment adapted for moving inside pipelines to perform various operations in pipeline. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing, spring-loaded friction rollers inclined to longitudinal axis of casing for free rotation around their axes, drive for changing of inclination angle of friction rollers, torque source and reactive torque moment suppressing unit. To provide for movement of apparatus inside pipeline, spring-loaded friction rollers are arranged by means of said drive in inclined position with respect to longitudinal axis of casing for desired angle, which may be adjusted during motion of apparatus. Torque is transmitted from torque moment source, connected to torque suppressing unit, to casing to cause rotation thereof. Spring-loaded inclined friction rollers provide movement of apparatus along pipeline axis by cooperating with inner surface of pipeline along helical line. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction and provision for adjustment of inclination angle of friction rollers during movement of apparatus and, accordingly, improved mobility of apparatus. ^ 4 cl, 2 dwg
