Zusammenfassung:FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely manufacture of laminate corrosion-resistant steel by rolling, possibly manufacture of rectangular or cylindrical laminate steel materials of basic and cladding steel layers having different linear expansion factors. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making blanks of carbon-containing, low- or mean alloyed steels used as basic layer and high-alloyed steels with special properties as cladding layer; preparing surfaces of blanks for assembling them; assembling blanks and flanging them for welding to basic or cladding layer depending upon relation of linear expansion factors of steels. Length of cladding layer is normalized by means of mathematical expression. At first welding along ends and along perimeters of layers is realized for fixing mutual arrangement of layers. Then welding is performed during process of forcing cladding layer to basic one under pressure causing plastic deformation and elongation of cladding layer. Layers are mutually joined due to diffusion of alloying components at heating and hot rolling characterized by methods and modes providing significant elongation of laminate steel blank. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of making blanks for basic and cladding layers, improved accuracy and reliable fixation of mutual arrangement of layers. ^ 4 dwg, 2 tbl, 1 ex
