Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present method deals with differential diagnostics of diabetes mellitus. One should register cathode curves without any preliminary electrochemical concentrating the substance upon electrode's surface. Preliminary mixing and deaeration of solution should be performed due to applying nitrogen at oxygen content being below 0.001% for 150 sec at 1.45 V potential. As working electrode one should use a mercury-film acicular one. One should register polarization curves at linear rate of potential timing being 50 mV/sec. Insulin concentration should be determined by peak's height in potentials interval ranged -0.8 to -0.9 V against chloro-silver electrode at the background of 0.01 M/l potassium chloride solution at addition of 5 M/l tartaric acid solution up to pH being equal to 3.0.
