PANEL MEMBER

FIELD: flooring or floor composed of a number of similar elements, particularly panel members for floor covering. ^ SUBSTANCE: member includes two first, namely longitudinal, sides. Groove is formed on one side and ridge is created on another side. Groove is defined by two sidepieces. Ridge interacts with groove of another similar adjacent panel member such that connected panel members are protected against disengaging forces acting in direction of both axes directed perpendicularly to longitudinal sides of panel members. Ridge has extension formed on lower ridge surface and extending in ridge direction. Groove has fixing channel formed on lower surface thereof for extension insertion. Upper groove edge is elevated in direction of groove outlet end such that channel for ridge introducing located obliquely to the second panel member laying is created. Groove and ridge of two connected panel members have four specified contact points. ^ EFFECT: creation of gapless connection of adjacent panel members, increased reliability of panel members connection. ^ 10 cl, 8 dwg
