Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: investigating physical and strength properties for determining resistance of materials to plastic deformation. ^ SUBSTANCE: device for performing compression test has base with at least two guiding slots, upper and lower gripping means arranged coaxially into base and having radial notches. Device comprises at least two fingers, loading bushing kinematically mated with base and upper gripping means along cylindrical surface. Guiding slots extend in longitudinal direction. Upper gripper means has at least two screw grooves with calculated lead angles. Free finger ends of loading bushing are installed into longitudinal slots and screw grooves of base and upper gripper means accordingly. ^ EFFECT: extended capabilities of investigating physical and strength properties of metals. ^ 3 dwg
