METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MOLDED FILLED FOAMED PRODUCTS FROM CHEMICALLY CROS S-LINKED ETHYLENE/VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMER

FIELD: polymer products. SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparation of foam-forming composition, plasticizing, and closed-mold molding. When foam-forming composition is prepared, organic peroxide, namely 1,3-bis(tetrabutylperoxyisopropyl)benzene peroxide, is preliminarily mixed with gas0forming agent, namely azodicarbonamide, at weight ratio 0.3-0.45. Further, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer is added to preliminarily prepared mixture, followed by adding decomposition activator and fine calcium carbonate. Homogenous mixing is effected at 100-110o, plasticizing at 105-110o, and molding at 170-190o. Invention can find use in fabrication of shock-absorbing items, articles with high wear resistance, in particular cast tires for small carriages, prams, foot-wear soles, and others. EFFECT: reduced number of process operations in molding stage, improved appearance of articles, which is either smooth or has characteristic relief, minimized cooling shrinkage, and increased resistance to deformations in case of cycling dynamic loadings. 1 tbl, 4 ex
