Zusammenfassung:FIELD: mechanical engineering+ADs- internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed method comes to the following: running-in of vehicle power units is carried out using as running-in parameters operation of friction forces providing required degree of working-in and parameters, such as power unit temperature T, torque on engine shaft (M+ADw-Mv+AD4-c+ADw-D+AD4-), engine crankshaft speed W, and pressure (P+ADw-Mv+AD4-m+ADw-D+AD4-)in oil main line till their stabilization. Used as parameters are also parameters of concentration of hydrocarbons (CH) and carbon monoxide (CO). Running-in process is terminated when concentrations of hydrocarbons (CH) and carbon monoxide (CO) correspond to tolerable values. EFFECT: reduced time taken for preparation of engine for operation, improved quality of running-in.
