SUBSTANCE: title compounds, which can be used as fuel elements, materials for two-stage oxidation of fuels, gas sensors, and catalysts, are prepared by treating, at 750-820K, double calcium phosphates with iron Ca9FeHx(PO4)7 and copper Ca9,5CuHx(PO4)7 with hydrogen or hydrogen/inert gas (in particular argon) mixture wherein hydrogen content ranges from 15 to nearly 100%.
