Zusammenfassung:FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of manufacture of air conduits for microclimate control systems in vehicle interiors. According to proposed method, air conduit of heating system is made in form of curved branch pipe with round or multifaced flanges. Novelty is than ring flange is made with two envelopes differing in area and conicity. Working section of outlet bend of branch pipe is made in form of straight-line lower and curvilinear upper bases. Four fixing projections are made in inner part of outlet branch pipe for connection with window of heat distributing grille. Each fixing projection is provided with inclined entry and fixing surfaces. Fixing projections are made in width not less than 9 mm, height of 2 mm and length not less than 10.4 mm. Thickness of envelope over entire contour of air conduit is not greater than 1.2 mm. Cross-section area of air conduit at inlet is 660-670 sq. mm, and at outlet is from 800 to 1100 sq. mm. Air conduit is of either left-hand or right-hand design. Air conduit is manufactured of polyethylene, grade 207-23 by blowing in mould at sublimation state of material at blowing pressure not exceeding 25 MPa. After taking air conduit out of mould it is subjected to cooling and random checking of geometric parameters. EFFECT: optimized manufacturing processes. 6 dwg
