Voltage across load is increased due to step-by-step charge of energy storage 4 to voltage exceeding double value of voltage across power supply 1 due to recharging energy storage 4 through charging choke 7 and electronic switch 8 occurring during interval between two regular control pulses driving electronic switch 5 in conduction.
