CONVEYOR FOR TRANSPORTATION OF-LONG ARTICLES

FIELD: oil producing industry; drilling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling equipment, namely, equipment for running-in and pulling-out of continuous string of boxless tubes. Conveyor for transportation of long-cut articles has frame, pair of chains with force-transmitting pads installed no supporting coaxial sprockets and at least one pair of lead screws installed for engagement with pads on straight-line section of load-carrying strand of chain. Similar pair of chains is installed symmetrically in addition to installed one. Supports of lead screws are stationary secured on frame so that their longitudinal axles are between load-carrying strands of chains in plane of contact of opposite pads, and engagement of screws with pads is provided by means of stops movable relative to frame and installed at both sides of plane of mounting of screw from rear side of pads, and spring-loaded half-nuts mounted on front surface of each pad. Axles of chain sprockets of each pair of chains are secured on stop inside, stops being interconnected by compression drive. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of conveyor, facilitated operation, improved reliability of conveyor in operation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
