Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: layer is manufactured from polymer-impregnated non-woven material. Said material is impregnated with aqueous dispersion of polyurethane or nitrile butadiene rubber and has equal tensile strength in longitudinal and transverse directions, specific weight of from 180 g/sq. m to 350 g/sq.m and tensile strength of at least 15 H. Non- woven material is manufactured from multiple-component continuous threads composed of at least two incompatible polymers and having linear density less than 2 Dtex. Multiple-component continuous threads are formed from melt, extended by aerodynamic process and immediately laid into non-woven material. After preliminary strengthening, multiple-component thread is split for at least 90% into supermicrofibrous continuous filaments having linear density less than 0.2 Dtex and is strengthened. Layer includes non-woven polymer-impregnated material having specific surface weight of from 180 g/sq.m to 350 g/sq. m and tensile strength of at least 15 H in longitudinal and transverse directions. Method involves manufacturing non-woven material by forming multiple-component continuous thread from melt; extending said thread by aerodynamic process and laying into non-woven material; providing preliminary strengthening of said material by calendaring or needle stitching, with following strengthening by means of water streams under pressure; simultaneously splitting into superfibrous continuous threads, with following subjecting to polymer impregnation.
