Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed hub unit contains drive shaft, steering knuckle body, conical bushing, hub, hub attachment nut and antifriction bearings. Use is made of radial-thrust ball bearings with distribution of fits in connections among races, starting from outer end face of hub. Inner race of first bearing from outer end face of hub is installed on rotating hub with interference, while outer race of said bearing is fitted with clearance in non-rotating body of steering knuckle. Inner race of second bearing from outer end face of hub is installed in rotation hub with clearance, while outer race of said bearing in interference-fitted in non-rotating body of steering knuckle and is fixed from axial displacement by lockring. Inner races of both bearings and intermediate spacer bushing are secured on shaft by means of hub attachment nut and conical bushing.
