METHOD FOR PREPARING ANTIBACTERIAL MEDICINAL AGENT

FIELD: medicinal industry, pharmaceutical technology, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing nitroxoline-containing medicinal agents and used for treatment of infections of urogenital ways. In preparing a medicinal agent a mixture of nitroxoline and special additions is wetted with starch paste solution, granulated, dried, core is formed and envelope is applied on core being envelope consists of two sequential layers followed by applying glossing substances. For applying internal non-colored layer the following components are used: sugar, magnesium basic carbonate, aerosil, titanium dioxide and polyvinylpyrrolidone. For applying external colored layer mixture of sugar, pigments, dyes and binding agents is used. Mass of colored envelope is from 0.1 to 1.0 of tablet core mass. Nitroxoline tablets are made in industrial equipment. Tablets show uniform orange color and qualitative coating without defects on surface. Decomposition capacity of tablets is less 15 min.
