Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing industrial waste in ammonia production, in particular, to utilization of monoethanolamine spent solution in treatment of converted gas. Water is distilled off from monoethanolamine spent solution under atmosphere pressure using dephlegmator up to still temperature 160 C. Aqueous distillate containing 1% of monoethanolamine is neutralized with sulfosuccinic acid esters or alkylbenzenesulfoacid to obtain solution of surface-active substances. After water distillation off vat residue is distilled under vacuum 10-20 mm mercury column and three fractions are isolated. The first fraction is 10-15% solution of monoethanolamine is recovered to the initial distillation stage. The second fraction comprises 98-99.6% of monoethanolamine and represents the commercial product. The third fraction (vat residue) in the amount 1.5-55 of mass of monoethanolamine solution subjected for vacuum distillation is neutralized with mineral acid and prepared solution is used as a reducing agent in preparing chrome tanning agent for leather and fur.
