SUBSTANCE: the electrodeless discharge lamp has a resonator with an open section on one side and forming a resonance region, in which the energy of the microwave band resonates, magnetron having an antenna for bringing out the energy of the microwave band, coaxial waveguide installed on the other side of the resonator, transmitting the energy of the microwave band from the magnetron to the resonator and having an inner guide device passing in the direction of radiation of the antenna of the microwave oscillator, cylinder positioned inside the resonator and containing a fluorescent agent generating the luminous radiation under the action of the energy of the microwave band, as well as a reticular element installed on the open section of the resonator preventing the dissipation of energy of the microwave band and passing the luminous radiation generated in the cylinder.
