PROCEDURE EVALUATING EFFECTIVENESS OF GEL-SEDIMENT FORMING TECHNOLOGIES IN OIL EXTRACTION

FIELD: petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods evaluating effectiveness of gel-sediment forming technologies of oil extraction at latest stage of development of oil field and is meant for use in oil production. Procedure includes selection of surface samples of oil, stabilization of oils, determination of values of their density, viscosity and content of fraction with boiling point under 200 C and comparison of these values for oils from same wells taken before and after application of gel-sediment forming compositions. If oil is characterized by initial or slightly changed properties in comparison with oil sampled before application of composition then employed technology ensures coverage of formation by flooding or selective isolation of developed formation and connection of zones of same formation not drained before or less permeable or of new formation.
