SUBSTANCE: one should detect total value for activity of silver nitrate-dyed nucleolus-forming areas (NFA) in 10 acrocentric chromosomes (10 Ag NFA) in 5-d- aged children due to point-type evaluation of NFA dyeing intensity in five pairs of acrocentric chromosomes and detecting total value of 10 Ag NFA size. Moreover, 0 point indicates no dyeing, 1 point - poor dyeing: silver grain is less than chromatide's width, 2 points - average dyeing: silver grain corresponds to chromatide's width, 3 points - intensive dyeing: silver grain is more than chromatide's width and at its value being below 18 points one should predict infectious-inflammatory diseases and low values of physical development in children during their first year of life.
