Zusammenfassung:FIELD: laser engineering; single-step pressure recovery systems for supersonic chemical lasers such as mobile systems. SUBSTANCE: pressure recovery system is finished by connecting it to supersonic low-pressure gas flow source made in the form of gas-dynamic supersonic chemical laser simulator and varying physical and chemical parameters of both in following sequence: ejector is separately started at no load until gas pressure upstream of nozzles is equalized with rated pressure in gas supply channel upstream of ejector; optimal parameters of pressure recovery system are set by determining and matching ejector and supersonic diffuser characteristics; for the purpose loading characteristics of ejector and ejector gas feed channel pressure are measured, ejector pressure drop as function of flowrate of model gas being ejected is found by varying sectional area of ejector nozzle neck or of ejector neck. Each time when geometric parameters of ejector are varied, its loading characteristic is measured again. Then starting pressure and pressure drop of supersonic diffuser are measured.
