SUBSTANCE: one should study mucous membrane of antralgastric department, moreover, in gastrobioptate of antral gastric department's mucosa one should morphometrically detect percentage ratio of plasmocytes (P) and lymphocytes (L) against all the leukocytes infiltrating gastric mucosa; after that one should calculate plasmolymphocytic index (PLI) by the following formula: PLI = P/L and at its value being 2.04 and less it is possible to diagnose the presence of Helicobacter pylori in gastric mucosa, and at its value being 2.05 and higher - the absence of helicobacter infection in gastric mucosa.
