Zusammenfassung:FIELD: equipment of furnace process stages; non-ferrous metallurgy; chemical industry; drying, dehydration and calcination of aluminum hydroxide in production of various grades of alumina. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes drum-type furnace, cooler, one or several afterfurnace heat exchangers in form of dust collecting units and vertical hat exchanger having pinch in section, feeder and fuel-burning unit made in form of furnace connected with vertical heat exchanger by means of gas duct at distance of 1.5-5.0 of its diameter below pinch. Plant may be provided with one after-furnace heat exchanger with additional vertical heat exchanger and successive vertical heat exchangers.
