SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-organic chemistry and may be used, in particular, for production of the catalytic agent used for decomposition of ozone in productions with its usage. The invention presents a production method of the catalytic agent, providing for mixing of a feed stock as such they take a waste catalyst of oxidizing of carbon oxide based on manganese dioxide, copper oxide and the binding material - bentonite clay - with water, treatment of the raw material after its mixing by a water aqueous solution of acetic acid with concentration of 1-5% mass., the following water flushing, molding of granules, drying, comminution and heat treatment. EFFECT: largely increase activity of catalyst in decomposition of ozone. 1 tbl, 3 ex
