Zusammenfassung:FIELD: chemical industry; methods of sorbents production. SUBSTANCE: invention presents a chemical technology, in particular, it relates to the methods of production of non-organic sorbents, that may be used for selective extraction of strontium from highly mineralized solutions. The method of production of non-organic sorbent based on manganese oxides (III, IV), includes settling of oxygen-bearing compounds of manganese from a solution, that contains saliferous divalent manganese and hydroxidesions; an oxidizing of divalent manganese up to manganese (III, IV) and drying of the received product; at that, settling of manganese oxides is conducted on the carbon carrying agent using an electrochemical method: exposing the carbon carrying agent (work electrode) to cathodic polarization till reaching a permanent value of potential, spaced from the stationary potential of immersing in the solution by (-0.1)-(-1.6) V in respect to a reference chlorosilver electrode (c. s. e) in the electrolyte containing ions of divalent manganese in amount of no more than 1 g/l under condition of continuous aerification of the electrolyte. Production of the sorbent by the method is exercised in electrochemical cell and the carbon fiber or an oxygenated carbon fiber can be used in the capacity of a work electrode. EFFECT: simplification of the sorbent production process with improved hydrodynamic and kinetic properties of the product. 4 cl, 6 ex
