METHOD FOR BENZENE DRYING

FIELD: petroleum chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves addition of drying agent based on silicon compounds followed by separation of benzene by the known methods. Chlorine-containing compounds of silicon or their solutions in benzene are used as drying agent taken in the amount providing ratio of chlorine atoms bound directly with silicon to water molecules in the parent benzene =2:1, not less. Chlorosilanes, polychlorosilanes, organochlorosilanes and/or their mixtures are used as chloro-containing compounds of silicon. Invention provides the complete benzene drying.
